We only ask for the details needed to decide whether your parking-ticket case has appeal grounds and, if it does, to draft the letter.

1. What we collect

Your email address
Ticket details, dates, issuer name, location, and your case summary
Vehicle registration number, if you choose to provide it
Photos or documents you upload with your case, or send us later by email (up to 3 files, 8MB each)
Basic site analytics events such as CTA clicks and form submissions
Cookieless ad-conversion signals (Google Consent Mode with storage denied — no advertising cookies are set)

2. Why we use it

To review whether there are grounds for an appeal
To draft a letter when there are grounds
To email you about your request
To understand how visitors use the site and improve it

3. Legal basis

We process your case details to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract). We process basic analytics on our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works; analytics run without cookies and without building a profile of you.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may use service providers to operate the site and send email, such as Cloudflare (hosting and email routing), Resend (email delivery), and PostHog (EU-hosted analytics).

5. Retention

We keep case data only as long as reasonably needed to handle your case, follow up, meet legal obligations, and run basic service operations.

6. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it — email support@appealmyticket.co.uk and a human will handle it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
